Through Your Eyes

A little bit about this:

I was sitting one day and looking at my 2 nieces..

Watching how just the littlest things would make their eyes light up.. Let it be a butterfly flying by, or a flower in the yard..

I realized at that moment how much we as adults are tainted in how we see the world.. It isn't something we can avoid.. Cause we know the dangers , and we know the evil that the world is filled with..

And I look at these 2 beautiful little girls, and become a little jealous.. Wishing for just a moment I can go back to those innocent times , go back to where the world seemed so magical..

The following is dedicated to my Nieces.. They are my whole world, my soul mates.. I love you girls more than you will ever know.

IF I COULD SEE THE WORLD THROUGH YOUR EYES

WHAT WOULD I SEE?

WOULD THE WORLD SEEM SCARY?

WITH ALL THE NEGATIVE THERE IS..

DO YOUR EYES EVEN SEE THAT?

OR DO YOU SEE THE GOOD IN PEOPLE?

DO YOU SEE THEM FOR WHO AND WHAT THEY REALLY ARE?

IN THOSE EYES, I SEE SO MUCH..

I CAN SEE THE LOVE YOU FEEL

I CAN SEE THE INNOCENT SOUL THAT LIES WITHIN YOU.

TO SEE THE WOLRD THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD..

WE COULD SEE SO MUCH..

SEE THE WORLD AS IT SHOULD BE, AS IT COULD BE..

A CHILD LOOKS AT THE WORLD.

THEY LOOK WITH THEIR HEARTS..

OH, TO SEE THIS WORLD THROUGH YOUR EYES..

IF ONLY FOR A MOMENT..
